Thanks for the invite! It was pretty cool to finally get the chance to play with the Di2 Dura Ace group. That’s not something you get to do everyday…unless you have some serious cash to burn…

Sometimes it’s nice when reviewers aren’t given the product as that usually requires a glowing review with no mention of any down sides. Not that I needed anyone to tell me it is too expensive but appreciate the truth being expressed in a review. It seems to me that quality groupos in general are too costly but people keep buying so the prices keep going up. I just can’t imagnine it would make them less money in the end to make the things afordable as they would make more money on volume.
thanks for honestly expressing that cost is too much.
Let me take it further: rediculous and no reflection on cost of materials or development. even on a pure part lust trip I’d rather have red.

Doubtfulfull wireless will happen anytime soon with it to be honest. It would take a lot more battery (more batteries), and add one more complex piece to the already complex puzzle. Additionally they’d have to then worry about useable frequencies , etc. e

Imagine ten guys being on the same wireless frequency in a big peleton and one of them shifting

Thought i was on roadbikereview for a second.. hehe

What? it’s not wireless?! haha. In no time at all, the price will come down, the battery will be smaller and it will be wireless… It’ll be like the iPhone and all those pro wanna-be’s will be pissed they paid so much for the “old” product. (this is the optimist in me!) -Rusty

Amazing. In time the technology will lower in price as demand increases but for now it’s like New York City, nice place to visit but I can’t afford to live there.
